We got engaged! One year from the day we chose forever in Iceland, we’re getting married—and we’d love for you to join us. Save the date: September 13 to 15, 2025, at Highland Base in Kerlingarfjöll, a place close to our hearts. More details soon, but for now, save the date!
People often describe Iceland as otherworldly, and that’s the best way to describe how we found each other. It was beyond reason, beyond explanation—something we couldn’t quite understand, but it changed our lives in the most beautiful way. Though our story is still unfolding, we know with certainty that this is where we want to begin forever. We can’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate our love than right here, in a place as mysterious as the journey that brought us together.
Things You Might Be Wondering

You don’t have to be there for the whole weekend, but we’d really love it if you could! We’ve planned two special events over the course of the 13th and 14th, and we’ve booked out the entire hotel so we can have the space all to ourselves. It means a lot to us to have everyone together for the full weekend if possible—it’s going to be such a beautiful, cozy celebration.
If you’re unable to stay the whole time, please reach out to Avery and/or Ási so we can coordinate with the hotel accordingly.

Due to limited space at the venue, we’ve decided to keep the celebration adults-only, with the exception of immediate family. We hope you understand—it was a tough call, but we truly appreciate your support and understanding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We’ve been asked if we have a registry, and the honest answer is—we don’t! Your presence is truly the greatest gift, and we don’t expect anything beyond that.
That said, for those who feel strongly about giving something, a contribution toward our future adventures or life together would be warmly appreciated. But truly, celebrating with you is what means the most to us.

Yes, you're welcome to extend your stay at the hotel! When you book your room for the 13th and 14th, you can add extra nights directly through the hotel.
Ási and I will be staying an extra night after the wedding to relax and recoup—so if you’re thinking of winding down a little longer, we’d love to have you there too.

Yes, there is! We’ve arranged shared transport to the hotel from central Reykjavík on the morning of September 13th. More details, including timing and pickup location, will be shared closer to the date. Please let us know if you’re interested in this.
