We’re so grateful you’re considering making the journey into the Icelandic highlands to celebrate with us. Highland Base is about a 3-hour drive from Reykjavík, and there are two great ways to get there: you’re welcome to drive up on your own and turn it into an epic Icelandic road trip, or join our shared transport departing from central Reykjavík at 11 AM on September 13.

We recommend flying in a day early to make things more relaxed, but we totally understand if that’s not possible. The drive is long, mostly flat, and beautiful. Our bus will have air conditioning, WiFi, and lots of snacks and drinks to keep you cozy. And once you arrive, fresh waffles, hot cocoa, and a natural hot spring will be waiting to welcome you.

For our Canadian guests: You’ll need to arrange your flight into Keflavík Airport (KEF). If you’re arriving on the 13th, you’ll need to be in Reykjavík by 10 AM to catch the shared shuttle to Highland Basecamp. Keep in mind that the taxi or airport transfer from Keflavík to central Reykjavík takes about 40 minutes, so plan your arrival time accordingly!
