Fólk lýsir oft Íslandi sem öðrum heimi, og það er besta leiðin til að lýsa því hvernig við fundum hvort annað. Það var handan allrar skynsemi og útskýringa—eitthvað sem við gátum ekki alveg skilið, en það breytti lífi okkar á fallegasta hátt. Þótt saga okkar sé enn að þróast, vitum við af fullvissu að þetta er staðurinn þar sem við viljum hefja okkar eilífð. Við getum ekki ímyndað okkur fullkomnari stað til að fagna ástinni okkar en hér, í landi sem er jafn dularfullt og ferðalagið sem leiddi okkur saman.

People often describe Iceland as otherworldly, and that’s the best way to describe how we found each other. It was beyond reason, beyond explanation—something we couldn’t quite understand, but it changed our lives in the most beautiful way. Though our story is still unfolding, we know with certainty that this is where we want to begin forever. We can’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate our love than right here, in a land as mysterious as the journey that brought us together.
